Editorial Policy
Journal of PharmaSciTech considers only original Communications /articles/write-ups submitted exclusively to the journal. Prior and duplicate publications are not allowed. Publication of abstract under conference proceedings will not be considered as prior publication. It is the duty of the authors to inform the IJP about all submissions and previous reports that might be regarded as prior or duplicate publication.
Manuscripts for publication will be considered on their individual merits. All manuscripts will be subjected to peer review. Normally manuscripts will be sent to at least two reviewers and their comments along with the editorial board’s decision will be forwarded to the contributor for further action. The authors may suggest referees working in the same area for evaluating the manuscript.
Journal of PharmaSciTech insists on ethical practices in both human and animal experiments. Evidence for approval by a local Ethics Committee must be supplied by the authors on demand. Animal experimental procedures should be as humane as possible and the details of anaesthetics and analgesics used should be clearly stated. The ethical standards of experiments must be in accordance with the guidelines provided by the CPCSEA (animal) and ICMR (human). The journal will not consider any paper which is ethically unacceptable. A statement on ethics committee permission and ethical practices must be included in all research articles under the ‘Materials and Methods’ section.
Authors must be careful when they reproduce text, tables or illustrations from other sources. Plagiarism will be viewed seriously. Please see instructions below on this subject. All accepted papers are subject to editorial changes.

Manuscript Preparation
File preparation and types
Manuscripts are preferred in Microsoft Word 2003 format (.doc files). The text should be double-spaced and typed using Times New Roman font type, 12 point font (unless instructed) on A4-sized paper (297mm×210 mm), justified with margins of one inch on all sides. Page number should appear in the bottom centre of each page, beginning with the title page. Tables and figures should not be placed in the main text, but should be included after the reference section on separate pages. There shall not be any decorative borders anywhere in the text including the title page. Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract and keywords; main text; acknowledgments; declaration of interest; references; tables with captions (on separate pages); figures with figure captions/legends (on separate pages) in order in which they appear in the text.
Title Page
A title page consists of the manuscript title (capital for first character, bold face, and font 14) plus the full names (no degrees) and affiliations of all authors involved in the preparation of the manuscript. The authors having different affiliations must be indicated by superscript numericals after their full name. One author should be designated as the corresponding author, and full contact information, including phone number and email address, provided for this person.
An asterisk (*) should be added to the right of the corresponding author’s name.
Abstract
An abstract of <250 words is suggested. 3-6 keywords are preferable below the abstract. [Keywords: Drug delivery; nanoparticles; antifungal activity]
Main Text
The body of the article should include the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, or Results and Discussion, Conclusions, acknowledgements (These headings should be in bold face). The subheading should not be numbered as 1.1, 2.1, etc. Rather the subheadings should be italicized (Bold face).
References
Cite references in Arabic numbers through the text by in text parenthesis [] before punctuations. References should be arranged in a numbered list at the end of the manuscript following the style below:

Tables & Figures
Tables should be grouped at the end of the manuscript on separate pages and cited in the text as Table 1, Table 2 etc. Footnotes to tables should be typed directly below the table and are indicated by superscripts a, b, c, etc. Hide lines except under the column headings. Figures should be included on separate pages with suitable captions/legends below each figure. Cited figures in the text as follows: Fig. 1, Fig. 1a, Fig. 1a-c. There shall not be any figure borders. Keys to symbols should not be a part of the figure. Use the same typeface for all figures.
The authors are advised to adhere to SI units strictly. The authors are responsible for the content of their manuscript.

Mechanism for Ensuring Quality
The articles go through a strict single blind peer review system before publication and online feedback system is available for ensuring quality of journal articles published herein. An approximate of 25% of the articles received is rejected.

Editorial and Peer Review
A two stage peer review system is followed for evaluation of the manuscript- editorial comments followed by opinion of the learned reviewers. Once the manuscripts are received by the editorial office, an editor is assigned by the Editor-in-Chief who handles the manuscript. The manuscripts are sent to the experts in the relevant field electronically. The reviewers are asked to send their review reports within 15 days of acceptance of invitation to expedite the process of publication. The editorial decision is final.

The authors’ declaration of conflicts of interest need to be a part of the manuscript and should be posted below the acknowledgement section of the manuscript. A standard disclosure form can be downloaded from the link below and should be attached after duly signed by all authors before the article can be considered for publication (www.icmje.org/coi_disclosure.pdf).
A copy right form should accompany during online submission process.

Experiments concerning use of laboratory animals should be approved by animals Ethics Committee. The submission involving experiments with the use of human volunteers must be accompanied with duly signed informed consent form.
